| The Kem Shriners were very helpful in my quest to identify what the initials stood for: 'Kem' means 'dark soil' (this group is located in the heart of the Red River Valley; considerd some of the richest soil in the world). The man in the inset was probably the 'Potentate' in office circa 1915 when this label was printed. |
