Genghis Khan (1155-1227)
Genghis also spelled Ching-gis, Chingis, Jenghiz, or Jinghis, original name Temüjin, also spelled Temuchin was a Mongolian warrior-ruler and one of the most famous conquerors in history. Genghis consolidated the tribes into a unified Mongolia and then extended his empire across Asia to the Adriatic Sea.
