Red Snapper Cigars
Barlow, Rogers & Simpson
"Red Snapper" cigar was made at factory #641 in the 21st district of N.Y. and located on Water Street in Binghamton, N.Y.  Binghamton had a large cigar industry in the late 19th century.  The Barlow Company started production in 1887 and was sold to American Cigar Co. in 1898.

Allegedly, Factory #641 produced a record 30,000,000 hand-made five-cent cigars per year.  The factory at one time employed 800 workers and had factories in both Binghamton and Lancaster, PA.  Another brand produced by the factory was "Fire Brigade Cigar" - there is an image of "FB" in the African American Theme and another in the Public Service Theme {under Fire/Police}.
