Top Brand or Top labels went on the top of the cigar box.  Top Brands differ from Top Wraps because they did not fold over the side of the box and the edging, if any, was added separately.  There are some very ornate Top Brand labels with litho's on wood grained backgrounds.  This example is a Textual Top Brand.
