I have had several requests from my friends across the Pond to add a translation program...so here it is. I have been testing several different Translation Systems and believe this to be the best so far. I realize that machine generated translations are a poor substitute for personal translations but unfortunately I am not a linguist. Cigar Label Junkie dotcom has over 5,000 pages now and the thought of trying to add a Translation Button to each page made me crazy. So this is what I have come up with: this page opened in a new window and if you leave it open, you will be able to go back to my site-find a page or word you wish to translate-copy the page address in your browser location/address box...then go to this page and paste that address into the translation box. Then choose which language you wish to translate and viola. You may also use your keyboard...if you are having problems using the [Copy] and [Paste] commands from the browser menu, try the keyboard shortcuts instead. (Ctrl + C) is Copy, (Ctrl + V) is Paste. The translation will be rough, and I am sure not totally correct, but you will at least have the opportunity to get the gist or main idea of what I was trying to say. **after you translate a page or words, you will have to use your Browsers BACK button to get back to the Translation box. Remember, you can always go to my Home page and open the Translation Window again.** |
